Genesis Adore (Adoration)

While this event is run by Genesis, all parishioners are most welcome. In fact, we encourage encourage you to join us, no matter your age or stage in life.

Umoya Project

The uMoya project is a community based project that focuses on multiple elderly, disabled, abandoned and sickly men and women in Khayelitsha.

Meet in the the St Michael’s parking lot at 8:45am for a pre-brief.  Drive in convoy to Khayelitsha. Return back to the St Michael’s parking lot by 1pm.

A project for those who believe in loving through boundaries and restoring hope and dignity to those abandoned by society, to take up the call to serve.

We create a fun and safe space for volunteers to engage with the marginalised and encounter the humanity in our brothers and sisters, and in ourselves

We take a group of volunteers to the Missionaries of Charity Home, in Khayelitsha, where we serve 50 differently-abled men and women. We facilitate a variety of interactive sessions as a way of building relationships and starting the dialogue

Spread Love

Spread Love is an initiative where we make sandwiches for the children of the Selesians Institute.

Join us on the last Sunday of every month after the 6pm mass at St Michaels.

Bring along peanut butter, jam or bread and help us make sandwiches for the underprivileged youth in Cape Town.
